Good Evening Eagles,
With the new Executive order #180 that went into effect on November 25, 2020, there are new requirements for face coverings during sporting events.
Under this new order, face covering/masks will be required by all coaches and players when:
1. Playing in a soccer game.
2. While on sideline as a sub.
3. While on sideline coaching.
NCYSA has instructed all CLUBS within their organization follow these new guidelines. Referees have been instructed to not start a match until all players and coaches are wearing their masks. Referees have also been instructed to stop/pause a match if a player or coach takes off their masks during a match.
We will continue to ask spectators to practice social distancing while on the sidelines and to wear their masks while walking around outside of their family unit.
Please keep in mind that our players are still able to play and finish their season over the next 2 weeks. We need all parents, coaches and players to be patient with this new mandate and supportive as we close out a great FALL season.
